Legislation

The Mosaic of Tirana is a first-category cultural monument, protected under:

Law No. 27/2018 "On cultural heritage and museums"

Council of Ministers Decision No. [number] declaring the site a cultural monument

International conventions ratified by the Republic of Albania, including the UNESCO Convention concerning the Protection of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage (1972) and the European Convention on the Protection of the Archaeological Heritage (Valletta, 1992).

The site is administered under the authority of the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage.
